The Rising Sun

As early as 3am you can see the dawn in Manchester, lights streams in through the windows and you cannot ignore it , you have to be a very deep sleeper not to notice when it sips through your window..

my work ethic has been one of an early riser, love to leave my house before the daylight sets in and if I leave and it is full daylight then I am late, imagine my surprise when at 5:40am the whole place looks like it is 10am in the morning… hmmmmmmm

Summer is upon us but we get more of rains in Manchester so we are grateful when we see the sun coming out to play, on this particular day last week I got ready as usual and the weather forecast said expect sunshine today, I was happy, stepped out of my building, I felt warm and giddy but I couldn’t see the sun, as I walked towards the train station, I saw pocket of rays here and there but didn’t see the sun, I looked at the sky frantically like one searching for gold, when I walked to the next street, I caught the Sun, it was hidden by the numerous tall building, it was there but was hidden, till I got to the train station then I saw it in its full glory, I got out my sunglasses 😎 and I smiled..

While on the train my thought went back to the sun… sometimes we go through things, and we think it will not end, we look for the light at the end of the tunnel and we do not see it just like I looked for the Sun and didn’t see it, we see rays of hope but still we don’t see the end of the problem and we just give up…. maybe you are in the middle of the tunnel and if you walk further you might just see the light….

All I am saying is that it is not over, far from over, even though you can’t see the sun doesn’t mean it is not there, it just means that give it time/ distance you will definitely see it… the last 9 months have been a flurry of emotions and just like that one day I walked into the office and changes have occurred and trust me for my good… so Keep your head up, chin set, shoulders high cos you are going to see the sun and smile again…

Yours Sincerely

CIA

P.S

This blog a lot about me and my personal struggles and if you have opinions about how real they are then please do not read…I write them for a specific set of people that think you cannot attain your dreams becos of how or where you have been or because you do not know People. I am proud of my past, I am proud of my story, I would never trade it for anything, they are the reason why I have an unshakeable faith in God and the reason why I have values so strong….

  1. Keep your light shining and God bless you for the courage to be real and share your story. People need to know the pathway to growth is uncomfortable and not the plastic images or stories shared around

@last poster… I feel your pain. You can imagine how I celebrated the only day I came to office before her. I was elated and told everyone I beat her to her game.
