There are few songs that strike a cord in me and Waje’s mountain is one of them.

I am at the point in my life where I am climbing some mountains and honestly I have thought of giving up on all of them, close my eyes into oblivion but the truth of the matter is that when I decide to open my eyes they will still be there so who I dey fool.

The song has made me appreciate the scripture “the race is not to the swift” sometimes you need to block all the noise coming from outside, outside can mean your family too, sometimes out of good intentions they make it harder and difficult for you to breathe.

Sometimes what people say might be what it looks like at the moment but really we do not live for the moment, we live for every moment.

So if you are like me climbing mountains right now in your life, shut out the noise, look at the mountain and say “the mountain I see before me I will conquer it”
